Re: display problem!!!

usually i would my antivirus would be doing a scan or playin a game. However what i did yesterday was run a chkdsk on the hard drive which did find some problems in my hard drive. after that the computer ran fine, the antivirus scan when all the way and everything seemed to be working fine. However after i restarted i got a BSOD with stop code 0x4f i ran a chkdsk again which found and fixed some more problems again. however when the computer restarted i got another BSOD with stop code 0x7a and now i cant even go in to safemode or anything. i researched a little and it said it might be failed or malfunctioning video adapter ram which makes sense whicth what the dysplay was doing. however im inclined to believe it might be bad hard drive so i might try buying a new one now what do you guys think?
