Red Faced ACER ASPIRE 5315 eReveory Management problem

We recently bought an ACER Aspire 5315 laptop and have tried burning the eRecovery to disk, as suggested, but keeps saying the disk isn't blank. Tried CDs and DVDs both + and - but still not working. Any suggestions most gratefully received. thanks. Rachel
