I am posting on behalf of my girlfriend. She has an HP dv6880se notebook and suddenly the battery does not seem to work. It is the battery that came with the notebook and it generally holds a solid charge still but suddenly poof does not work at all.

The notebook will only work plugged in.

Any ideas?
