Hi, I have checked my mail and am not sure where to check this?

I have Mail 2.1.3. In preferences, under VIEWING it is selected "Display remote images at html".

In PREFERENCES in COMPOSING, Message Format, I have a choice of Rick text or Plain text. (Rich Text is selected)?
