Hi Jonn,

Are both (battery and adapter) genuine DELL? If they are, then may be it could be the motherboard. Check the Dell website for any BIOS update that may address this issue too just in case (I did a quick visit to DELL but I cannot find something related to this in the BIOS updates for your model).
