I have tried booting with the CD in the drive and I still just get the black screen with the line of text at the top.

I can't get to the bios either, the computer gives me opportunity to get there.

My computer also doesn't have a reset button.

Luckily, my computer is still under warranty I think I will just have to give them a call sometime.
