Re: Heat, warranty?

Hello and welcome to TSF...
Well, if you do not want to open laptop so you can clean it good from inside [because your warranty will void] return it so they can fix it for you...
I can tell you that 60-70C is not good temperature for a laptop...
I have had similar problems with my laptop...
I have Acer Aspire 5720Z and after waking up from stand by, my laptop would go hot in few minutes and it would turn off immidiatelly to prevent any damage...
After I have flashed BIOS to the newest version everything is normal now, it seems new BIOS is good...
So I can suggest you to try with flashing BIOS...
If this does not + cleaning with compressed air, and you do not want to open laptop,
return it and let them fix laptop for you...
Hope this will help you mate...
