Re: Which one is the correct SATA Driver for my motherboard?
I have an Antec Sonata III Case which came with an Earthwatt 500w 80+ PSU.
a MSI P45 Neo-F Motherboard with Bios flashed to 1.5,
a Core 2 Duo 8500 not overclocked,
a Sapphire 4850 toxic video card not overclocked
2 GB Ram CL4 800 Corsair DHX ,
the mentioned Samsung Spinpoint 500GB 16MB SATA II
and a DVD Writer by LG Electronics.
I have installed Windows XP with Service Pack 3
Core Temp is around 38°C in Idle
and around 49°C under load
hmm--> vCore is at 1,192 (Sisoft Sandra says thatīs too high and indeed the VID for the 8500 is 1,15- so is that a problem? I didnīt change anything in BIOS)
Is there a stand by mode for hard drives, so it takes a while to open the explorer and could this happen while playing a game?
Thank you so far!
