Hello!
I was able to install Windows XP SP1 on a SATA Drive without installing the SATA Drivers by a floppy disk... donīt know why?!
Now I read, that this should not have been possible without the correct drivers.
My Hard Drive is very slow and I have some other problems, so Iīd like to reinstall Windows XP, this time with the correct SATA drivers.
Well, I own a MSI P45 Neo-F Motherboard with the Intel ICH10 Chipset (it says so on the homepage). But when I look on the CD of the motherboard there are several IDE or SATA drivers or whatever. I couldnīt figure out, which one is the right one.
There are:
Acard
Intel
JMicron
Promise
Silicon Image und
VIA Drivers
So, which files should I copy on the disk to get one SATA Hard Disk (no RAID system) properly working.
Thank you for any help!
