Not necessarily. If the sender is for TV then try changing the channels on the sender. If the box does not allow for this then try moving them around if your cable allows it. Otherwise I'm afraid you may need to buy a different sender that allows the changing of channels. I have one that has four different channels and works fine without interfering with my laptop anywhere in the house.
So try that or you may find the purchase of same or booster for your wireless the only option.
