youi did not mention when this problem started. also what brand or kind of
router,, also is the wifi card built into the laptop or is it a pcmcia type of
card ?? you might invest in a high quality router, I tried 3 different routers
till I found the one that works for me..I can connect easeily the length of
a foot ball field in three directions and quite a bit futher in the fourth direction..300 to 500 feet no problem so, my point of all this is.. in my case,,,the router is very critical..one that works for me may not work for you..a good router from ebay can be had for + or - 40 dollars depending on how frugal you shop..the one I am useing is a belkin wireless G plus
MIMO model f5d 9230-4.delivered to my door from ebay for 46.72 new
in box.. this is not meant to advertise or promote this brand,, it is only
information as to what is working for me after trying 2 other brands...
