Windows Explorer continually crashing..

Immediately after starting Windows (Vista) I receive the error message: "Windows Explorer has stopped working." I've obviously attempted to restart, however, it immediately crashes again.

Can someone please help? I don't want to have to recover my entire system.

Thanks in advance..
