the thermal paste used was artic silver 5, the case fans has one pulling air in and the other pushing it out the back,
i have put in a cpu before, the comp i'm using for putting the messages here i built myself, and is running wonderfully
I can understand the cpu heating if the cpu fan is not working properly but what will cause the southbridge to be getting the same temps, the comp was brought new and until 2 months ago never got temps above 55 C on the southbridge, now under full load the cpu and southbridge are both at 75 C or above, is it possible the controller for fan speed detection have died so the MB doesnt know to increase fan speed
