I cannot figure out how to disable my McAfee Security Center. I clicked on the link in your post for information on how to disable, and looked for McAfee. It looks like I may have a newer version or something than what is on the help list.

These were the instructions:
Please navigate to the system tray on the bottom right hand corner and look for a sign.
right-click it -> chose "Exit."
a popup will warn that protection will now be disabled. Click on "Yes" to disable the Antivirus guard.

When I right click there is no "Exit" option. When I right click I have the options of:
Open SecurityCenter
Updates
Scan
