Open HijackThis and click on 'Do a System Scan Only'. Check the following entries
(If they still exist, make sure you do not miss any)
O23 - Service: a-squared Anti-Malware Service (a2AntiMalware) - - (no file)
Please remember to close all other windows, including browsers then click Fix checked.
You may need to remove a-squared Anti-Malware from Kaspersky trusted zone. Also Kaspersky Internet Security(2009)8 can be downloaded if you have a valid license. See
