[SOLVED] Toshiba Equium A100-147 XP Repair Problem
Hi,
I've recently had problems booting up the laptop as titled. I am unable to the boot up, in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known good configuration, and start normally. (I stated this in a previous topic but the problem has unfortuantely grown)
I have inserted the XP CD to attempt a repair but upon inspection (as the CD loads the files I believe) I get this message:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevgent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturuer for driver updates. Try changeng video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as cashing or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to to select advanced startup options, and then select safe mode.
