I recommend you bench test this computer. See the sticky on this forum. Try to keep disconnected the things that the computer doesn't need in order to get into BIOS setup. For example, the hard drive and disc drives.

All the computer should need in order to boot is video card, motherboard, processor, 1 memory module, and power supply. If possible, keep the case speaker plugged in (it makes the beep sound when you start the computer). Then you can disconnect memory and video card. In this setup, the motherboard should beep numerous times complaining about no memory. If it does not beep, the final test would be another power supply. If it beeps after a different power supply, then you know a failed power supply was the cause. If it still doesn't beep, then your motherboard is dead (most likely cause).

Make sure the computer is turned off and power unplugged before making any changes to what is connected. Keep yourself grounded to avoid static discharge which can kill your components.
