Hi can anyone please help me?

I have a Dell Dimension 3000 PC running xp every time i attempt to start it the power light turns to yellow and then the computer just hangs!

First of all checked, reseated and even replaced the memory card for a know good one and still no joy

I then went on to reseat every card and chip in the box but still no joy

Finally I went on to change the PSU (also for a known good one) but even that didn't help

Now I am at my whits end

I am not too technically adept and would therefore really appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
