Good afternoon TheBruce1,

The best option at this time would be to use system restore. Restore the system back to just before your friends son used the computer, this should correct the problem.

Click start> all programs> accessories> system tools> system restore.

This sounds like a perfect option! I am still not able to use the start menu to select options. Is there another way to make these changes? I am able to access through "my computer" but I'm not sure how to get to the path you described.

Add: I was wondering if Comodo's firewall or any other security setting will affect or cause problems with system restore?
