Dell wireless problem

Hi everyone

I have a Dell inspiron 1300 and it was all working fine but now when i try to connect to my wireless network it gives a message saying

wireless network connection - there is limited or no connectivity.

It wont show a list of wireless networks in range, but in the 'choose a wireless network' box windows says

windows cannot configure this wireless connection - if you have used another program to manage this connection, use that software.

I havn't selected any other software to manage the wireless, and it looks like i have full signal strength and are connected, but cant access the internet. It does look like i am using a different wireless program, as i dont remember it saying intel PROset wireless in the wireless network icon.

any ideas? is it my wireless card gone doolahly? Or am i just being thick and missed something here?!
