to houndog, it was a loud harsh whirring noise like a fan spinning too fast. and later i touched the heatsink and fan and it felt loose, i pushed it and it clicked into position, something must have knocked it free.

to bobalazs, ive heard this noise before but only during start up and for no longer than 4 seconds. it kind of startled me and once it went on for longer than usual i started to quit out of the game but it crashed before i could manually shut down. and ya i wouldn't have the money for an instant fix either.

thanks guys for the quick responses my comp starts no noise or anything after i let it cool and pushed the heatsink/fan in. i guess it was an easy fix i just didn't know what to do at first.
