Re: Computer hangs after a beep. The beep sounds like a "click" sound

Thanks for the event viewer errors. These ones are typically caused by faulty RAM :

Sometimes the brand and model of the ram stick is written on the ram stick itself or on a sticker on it. Please download and run CPU-z, it'll give us more informations. In CPU-z go to the SPD tab, select each slot that contains a memory stick and take a screenshot of the informations (you can't copy paste from there so a screenshot will go faster). Also take a screenshot of the memory tab.

See if you can borrow one from a friend. If you decide to buy a new one make sure you don't pick a cheap one, when it comes to power supplies the brand matters and the price is a good indicator of the quality. Check the recommended supplies for the "standard computer class" at the bottom of this thread : Power Supply Information and Selection (your computer is substandard but if you buy a brand new power supply take one you'll be able to reuse in a new computer later on).

I'd buy a rewritable CD (CD-RW), you'll be able to reuse it later. Start with memtest, the thing that's causing your current crashes is probably a failing ram stick.
