I just wanted to update this thread to say most of the issues are sorted, and I believe anything that is a bit odd now is down to software, here is a summery.

1st graphics card overheated, got a 2nd

2nd graphics card had a high pitch whining, this is also when I had the shutting down and reset problems.

To sort the shutdown problems, and another few things, I manually set the memory timings to 9-9-9-24-2T, 1.8v as the ram suggests, memtest ran 2 full times with no problems.

Got a 3rd graphics card and put that in, it removed the whining sound and ALSO since then (about a week now) I haven't had a single reset issue, so it may have been the 2nd graphics card having it's own VGA Bios issues.

Now the only 'problem' I have, is 'sometimes' in certain games they just freeze, it's somewhat rare and I can be using the system for hours and hours with no problem, yesterday there wasn't a single issue. I believe this might be more to do with 64bit/software/drivers. I am 95% confident the hardware is ok.

Haven't had any blue screens since the one back along either, I will get around these teething problems with time I hope, thank you for all of the feedback.
