Re: Installing a SATA HDD

Alright so, I got a USB Floppy Drive from BestBuy (I could return it even if it's opened).. I installed the OS on my IDE HD because at first it didn't give me an option to F6.

Afterwards, I rebooted with CD and pressed F6 which led to me to:

Setup could not determine the type of one or more mass storage devices installed in your system, or you have chosen to manually specify an adapter. Currently, Setup will load support for the following mass storage devices:

<none>

* To specify additional SCSI adapters, CD-ROM drives, or special disk controllers for use with Windows, including those for which you have a device support disk from a mass storage device manufacturer, press S.

* If you do not have any device support disks from a mass storage device manufacturer, or do not want to specify additional mass storage devices for use with Windows, press ENTER.
My USB floppy is connected. So I pressed S, and it said Please insert the desk labeled in A drive or something. I did so, and it said it did not find anything.

Also - I have a dled a windows xp pro application which is already slipstreamed (I burned it through PowerISO), is there an easier way to just add my SATA drivers to that? because I've looked through many slipstream guides and I can't even get it to work through nLite. Not quite sure.
