Hi Kevin,

I just did a quick Google search to look for a service manual but unfortunately I cannot find one for your model. I do not encourage that you open it up with out a guide because we may do more harm than good (even if it is a dead laptop ).

Just based on what we have now it looks like a motherboard problem and yes, it could be a dead laptop. It would be good if you can access the motherboard so you can see if there are any burnt components.

Anyhow I suggest you also get a second opinion from a repair shop.
