is the fan plugged into the cpu fan
is the zalman tightend down ok
if you can get into the bios and check the voltages and tempretures in there
the bfg psu's are definately not a recommended psu
when a power supply decides to quit most of the time you just lose it
when bfg go they have a habit of taking half the computer with it from what we have seen posted
did you have a shorting problem before
