Fresh install = earasing everything on the HD?

I've had that in the back of my mind, but only as a last resort. On my old PC occasionally if I encountered a big problem I would completely re-install everything using the disks that came with my PC.

If that's what you are refering to, then yes, it's a possibility. But definately a last resort.
