Does anyone know of a cheap way of getting my power socket replaced on my Toshiba Sat Pro without having to return it to Toshiba? my laptop power input socket burned out one week after my warranty expired! I have been quoted £200 for fitting a replacement socket by a couple of local laptop repair shops but I thought that was a bit steep to be honest! especially as that part costs £1.35 and I can't fit it myself in case I damage the motherboard!
