Re: Winspyware Hijacks my desktop and screen saver

You asked me what programs I used to get rid of the things that I did.
I've attached screen shots of the things that spyware doctor quarantined since this started and also screen shots of the list of things that Avant found since this started. As you can see on both it found something just about every time I ran both.

I run Spyware Doctor in safe mode once even though it warned me not to and after I booted back up I ran it again and it finally found a virus/spyware called "FakeThreat" I think that might have been when the blue screensaver stopped popping up.

Ran Avant! and it said there was an active virus and to stop and set it to run on boot up. So I did that. I tryed to go to PCPitstop it wouldn't do nothin there.

In between running spyware doctor and Avant over and over I was going to add remove programs and deleting everything I didn't need or know what it was and also at the very beginning when those antivirus programs were popping up constantly I went into to C:\\programfiles and deleted every folder I didn't recognize... I believe one of the folders was called ADL or ASL or something like that... it looked like the program that was popping up.

Also ran dss.exe and the panda thing and hijack this.

Last night a freind suggested just to be safe to go to trend micro and run thier antivirus so I did that too.

Puter seems to be ok right now. I notice its loading up windows a lot faster now and also checked and the screensaver tab is back under display.
