Hi Rod

I'm not overly familiar with Norton but all that you've said sounds fine.

You don't need to disable Spywareblaster as it just sits in the background. Same with IE-SPYAD - Zoned Out is just the installer.

What happens is that Combofix checks your system for malware. When it scans a file any active AV will think that something has happened to that file so it will want to have a look as well. By turning off the active protection you will allow CF to complete it's work without interruption - and quickly.
