Hi,

For the past couple of days I haven't seen the blue screen and no more pop ups either.
|
That's good. Could you please share with us what tools you've used to accomplish that?

However the screen saver option under my display settings is still MIA.
|
We'll fix that soon.

I read so much on your site about peoples passwords possibly being stolen etc that I'm getting paranoid and would like assurance that my system is not being compromised by some back door trojan that can duplicate and steal my identity or something.
|
I don't see any presence of a backdoor trojan in the logs at the moment, just some remnants of malware. There's no way of knowing if you had some backdoor trojans without seeing the logs from the infected state of the system.
Please disable Spyware Doctor, as it may interfere with the fix. To disable Spyware Doctor:
- Click the Spyware Doctor icon in the System Tray.
- Click Settings.
- Click Startup Settings under Pick a Category.
- Uncheck Run at Windows startup.
- Click Apply and Exit Spyware Doctor
Once your log is clean you can re-enable Spyware Doctor.
