Well, the setup you have looks fine...though I would recommend skipping the PCI case fan...I find them to be garbage in general...and the case you have picked out already has a fan sitting right on top of the vga.

You have a very nice CPU cooler picked out...and it seems quite expensive compared to the rest of your build...think about lowering the price of this part...look at the arctic cooler freezer 7 64 (amd compatible version). It works very nicely at around half the cost...it also comes with their own respectable thermal compound preapplied.

As far as quads go, AMD has worked their bugs out, so you can pick one up if you like...just remember on their newest quads they have bumped speeds up a little, but have done so by using extra power...so the TDP of those chips is much higher.

Right now Intel is ahead of the game...probably by a good 6-9 months...on the high end stuff...so you might want to think about looking at an intel cpu and compatible board...something like the e8400, or a quad if you really want that. You also have the advantage of much better overclocks with intel...
