Can't See Network Adapters in Network Connections (but they are working)

Hello all,

as you can see from the subject the problem is a bit weird .. from the command prompt: ipconfig /all , i see everything but in the graphical interface not .. so i can't manage them and it's very annoying.

History of the problem:
The problem appeared after i made a big mess with the file and registry permissions when after using "subinacl.exe" to reset the registry permissions and correct some other problems, i began to get messages from programs and services that "There is not enough storage to complete this operation", anyway and after many hours made a successful recovery using a different vista installation to correct the file permission problem which locked me out from booting completely. The thing is that both registry and file permissions to Program Files, Program Files (x86), ProgramData, Windows folders were made manually to full permissions on everything to the system and administrators accounts and the same to the Registry Keys (without subinacl.exe this time so i know what is happening) . In the registry i had some notifications that it was not successful to everything. Anyhow app and window function seems to work fine now except the problem with the network adapters.

I imagine that it's again something with the permissions .. but to what? .. i can't risk damaging everything again! ..
Does anyone has any idea what i could check to see if the problem gets fixed ?

Thank you
