I've disconnected just about everything from the PSU and it's made no difference. Will have to wait longer to try the PSU out of my other pc (if you think it's really worth it).

One thought - I mentioned on an earlier post that when trying to start in safe mode, it starts to work through a list of drivers and then hangs. Well, it always stops in the same place, showing ...system32\drivers\Mup.sys as the last item.

Mean anything?
