Re: C: drive right-click menu

Im trying to reimage a new computer with acronis and before doing so I wanted to up grade to WIN XP PRO SP3. There wew a few files that the SP3 intsaller prompted "Access Denied" errors on. I repaired permissions with a progream called Dial-a-fix and was able to upgrade to SP3. Now when I right-click on the C: drive i'm prompted to install and Esay Creator CD maker program instead of the right-click menu. After that I cancel the installer I can still access the right-click menu.

Then when I try to clone I get an error similar too " cannot access the Harddrive."

I am in the admin user. It seems like the wrong program is selecting the harddrive or easy cd creator is chosen to open drives???

I tried to repair permissions again and there was an error i failed to copy but it read some thing like "problem with drive....... would you like windows to be the default program...." I'm not sure the error is erroneus or legit....

...yes i scanned with AVG 8.0 it's clean. I also repaired the registry...
