Vista turns off Numlock

This is hardly a serious problem - merely an irritant. My BIOS is set to turn ON Numlock at boot, and indeed it does so. But when VISTA loads, it turns it off again. The key is not disabled, so it's easy enough to turn it on.

VISTA 'Help and Support' makes no mention of Numlock; another forum suggested editing a registry entry in CurrentUser\...\Keyboard Default (something like that - changing a 0 to a 2), but that didn't work either.

Anyone have any suggestions on this ???
