I had this problem awhile back, and I know other people have had this problem too. No matter what driver I install the games always act like the card is not suited for them. My old 7600 GS works better than this card in some games. And even if it does run well, if you exit the game then get back into it or another, then get into the previous game it will lag horribly, not with the ping but as if the card is far too obsolete to play it. I've had this problem for some time now, but I may get more answers as the card has been out for more then a month.
