Hi,

My computer just got hit by a virus and I am resorting to reformat my HDD.

I use to be a norton user, but after some dissapointments, I switched to panda security (but only limited to the free online scanner). Now I am thinking of investing in another (paid) antivirus and I am considering kapersky.

I hope some of you have answers to my following questions:-

1) Is kapersky good? Does it update frequently to "keep up with times"?

2) Are there any other recommendations for antivirus products(free or paid-for)?

3) Which anti-virus product have frequent, fast, and up-to-date updates from personal experience? Which is usually the first to get an update the moment a new virus batch comes out?
