Power Supply beeps and shuts down

Hi all,

Hoping I can find some help here. These forums look extremely in depth and thinking this is the place. Forgive me if similar issues have been brought up and I am repeating a problem. Anyway...

Computer has been running fine for about 2 weeks now and I have made no changes to it recently besides installing new video card (Nvidia) drivers and Nvidia motherboard drivers (not bios). I played it for a few hours, maybe even a day or two after that with no problems.

But starting yesterday - I turn the pc on... within 15 seconds the power supply starts to beep and the display on the power supply starts to flash. Specifically the "+5v" number flashes and the number displayed is around 5.5 or 5.6. Shortly after - the system shuts down (presumably the power supply is shutting itself off).

What did I do? What can I do? I took out one of my 2 video cards and I had the same problem. Even unplugged one fan, assuming I was drawing too much power but it is still happening. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
