if you do open it up I would clean it by hand , blowing air into a fan motor actually just pushes dirt into the motor. I have killed a few videocard fans this way, also look under and in back of your laptop to find out where air goes in and comes out for cooling. clean the vents and keep them clear of debris on desktop.
