If you have a 20+4 pin ATX connector, make sure you aren't using the extra 4 pin from the 24 pin connector for the Molex connector to the motherboard. The Molex connector must be a separate connector coming from the power supply. That extra 4 pin from the ATX connector doesn't have to plug in to anything with a 20 pin motherboard connector.
