Secondary IDE channel no 80 conductor cable installed

Hi All,

I received the following error yesterday. My PC blue screened and upon reboot the following error occured

"Seconday IDE channel no 80 conductor cable installed"

Windows then started to boot and then blue screened, could not even boot to windows. No hardware changes have been made to my PC at all, the last change I made was 3 months ago, new IDE DVD burner and a new 1gb stick of RAM. But everything was OK, up until yesterday

Since that time I managed to boot into the repair console and run a chkdsk /r this has enabled me to get into windows, so at least I can now backup my data, but this message still appears. Any ideas?

Thanks guys
