Toshiba Satellite Cable Modem-Ethernet Problem
I am trying to get my wireless router (netgear) to work with my cable modem. I have a toshiba satellite with Vista installed. I recently got comcast cable modem service with the motorola surfnet sb5120 and it works through the USB port, but will not work through the ethernet port. I have a Realtek RTL 8139/810x ethernet card installed. The router will also not work when the ethernet is plugged into the modem. Is there any way I can get this ethernet to work?
Listed below is what happens when I run IPCONFIG with the USB (Works fine) and after that is what happens when I try it with only the ethernet cable.
