Hi. My 500GB Western Digital MyBook just died, it seems. Windows takes ages to recognize it, and I can't access the files. I got a few I/O errors as well. Windows says I need to format it before I can use it, but I need those files. Is there any way to get the files off it? Any help would be appreciated. Testdisk stops when I try to select the drive.
