Sounds like you may want to image your old drive and restore it onto a new one. I'm not sure on which free utilities are capable of that or how to do it. Personally I use a commercial utility and it works great, but it is expensive. Here a list of free ones and brief descriptions. If you want to go that route, you're going to have to spend a bit of time learning.
