best to check the output voltages. not usually a problem with genuine adapters but sometimes an issue with generics. so regardless if genuine or not, start with this.
next is to clear the CMOS. best if you can also visit Toshiba website. they sometimes have announcements on related problems for particular models. so it is good to check once in a while. you will be surprised that similar cases are resolved by BIOS update.
