pretty much any laptop with a HD over 80GB and RAM of greater than 1GB will run Vista perfectly fine. In laptops there isn't really such a thing as a graphics card, as you say, it is a chip. Imagine the size of a laptop if it was a card!! Anyway, with plenty of RAM, say 3 or 4GB, having shared memory would be fine and a graphics accelerator works when it is needed, i.e in high demand situations
