Video cards and VISTA

I am in the market for a laptop. I know that VISTA runs better with a dedicated video card on desktop PCs. What do I look for with a laptop? I see a lot of graphics accelerators and shared video memory. Are these adequate - is there such a thing as a dediceted video card for laptops or would it be an integrated chip?

The pc would not be used for intense gaming or video editing, I am just looking for something to run VISTA (probably business) properly with 2 or 3 GB of ram.
