Lastly, if this helps, WinTV will also not allow me to record! I keep getting this error:

But seriously, this is annoying. I bought this capture device yesterday:

Nothing seems to work with it...not even the PVR software that came with it, which is WinTV 2000...which is also giving me the same error as the above WinTV 6.
