Hey everyone,

So I moved into a new apartment, and the place has the newest hookups available. Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber-optic, Cable, and a basic phone jack.

I would really like to get internet directly from the ethernet port, and not have to deal with a DSL modem and all that stuff with the phone jack.

I'm kind of lost at who offers internet directly from the ethernet port, or if that is what the port is actually meant for.

Any ideas would really help.
